One Thousands Paintings Resolution – nourishing the delightfulness of life’s callings
I’m embarking in a new journey of complete immersion in the world of painting, exploring different mediums and techniques: I am about to paint 1,000 paintings.
To kick starting this project officially, a one day Pop-Up show at Fuse Arts Center in downtown Atlanta will be part of the first Thursdays downtown Art Walk on Thursday, September 4, 2014, 4 PM – 8 PM. In this show the visitors will be given the unique opportunity to see a glimpse inside an artist’s project and process: there will be 100 artworks on display – finished AND in progress. Experimenting freely without having to worry about the outcome is transforming the way I approach my work. I doing this for the delightful un-known-yet possibilities that come out of trying on something new, and to give myself permission to explore with intuitive painting. Just as one of my favorite quotes says “Whatever you can do or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin it now!” (Goethe)
